Rise is an inclusive, community-oriented gym space in Providence, Rhode Island and is scheduled to open in spring 2022. We were asked to create an
identity system for its proposal.
RISE is defined as ‛an upward movement.’ This definition is visually activated through shifting and clipping of letters, which were set in a stable and familiar-feeling typeface(1).
