Rare Books & Ancestral Machines;
A Handbook to the Posner Center
A 600-page handbook for the Carnegie Mellon University Press; through Addition Projects (with Kelsey Dusenka). The design system stages a conversation between two typographic voices to reflect the Posner Collection and the book’s central premise: the intertwined histories of human–computer interaction. Specially treated full-bleed details of collection objects punctuate the chapters, creating illumination between sections and enabling unexpected visual juxtapositions between the items.
