An on-going series of typefaces that serve as technical playgrounds to investigate the potentials of emergent font formats. The series investigates multiple-axis variable fonts, layer fonts, color fonts, OpenType, and scripting in Glyphs 3. The series is documented through a collection of tools made to handle and render these complex, layered formats. The following stills and gifs are made using DrawBot, a Python-based coding environment.
